  • Lisa Vogan, chairperson

    As a licensed Disciplemaking Specialist for the Northeastern District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, specializing in Children’s ministry, Lisa spends her time coaching, consulting, equipping, speaking and facilitating leadership growth across the District and the United States. Under the leadership of Melissa J. MacDonald, she has served as a Regional Connector for the National Children’s Ministry Team of the C & M A and a Coach for the Children’s Disciplemaking Leadership Certificate Course(CDLC). Lisa is certified as a National Trainer for Plan to Protect™. With over 30 years of ministry experience within discipleship and leadership contexts, Lisa’s greatest passion is to encourage, equip and empower ministry volunteers and leaders--strengthening the impact in our world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

    Megan has served in Alliance churches since she can remember. Through the years she has led Missions Ministry, including a short-term mission trip to Envision Peru; served on staff as an Executive/Ministry Assistant; served on a church-planting team for three years; volunteered in worship ministry; completed a year-long intensive discipleship program through 3DM Coaching, and various other ministry roles. She currently works from home doing content creation including graphic design, web design, social media, blogging and print layout for her business, Crafted Graphics, LLC. Her husband, Levi, is a campus pastor at Crosstown Alliance Church in Rochester, NY. They have one daughter named Selah.

    Reid has been in the NED since 2014 as Youth Pastor at Parkside Bible Church in Watertown, NY. He graduated in 2003 from Messiah College with a BA in Christian Ministries and an emphasis in youth. He has pastored in youth, young adult, college & career and worship ministries in previous churches, serving as full-time, bi-vocational and volunteer ministry leadership in that time. He has a heart for helping people become fully devoted, lifelong disciples of Christ, which will, in turn, produce more Christ followers as they serve God's Kingdom in reaching others. As a native New Englander (living in exile), he enjoys cheering for the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics and rubbing all those championships in at the Bills, Giants, Yankees and Ranger fans!

    Alex has served in ministry since 2008. He is currently serving as the Associate Pastor at Lockport Alliance Church where he tries to use Romans 12 as a guideline for living and serving. Alex loves the Lord and enjoys helping others get to know Jesus better. He's married to Becky and the two of them have three young boys. Alex enjoys cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes and has been known to travel to Cleveland on a whim to catch a Cleveland Indians baseball game.

    PJ has served in full-time ministry with the Alliance for more than 15 years. He has served as a youth pastor, lead pastor, church planter, and is now the Pastor of Discipleship at Auburn Alliance Church.  During that time, he's been studying, writing, and teaching on the topic of healthy church ministry. His passion is equipping people to Make Disciples and then developing a framework for disciplemaking to occur organically. PJ is also a writer. To date he's written over 100 plays designed for use in churches and three books to equip the people of God to develop into mature disciples of Jesus Christ and make more disciples.     Brian has served as a pastor in churches in both Canada and the US since 1998. He is currently the Lead Pastor of Trinity Alliance Church in Rochester, NY. Brian’s passion is to see people take steps of faith (even risky steps) as they follow God’s plan for their lives. He enjoys reading, playing music, watching hockey (go Leafs go!), baseball (Let’s go Blue Jays!) and football (G-MEN!). He also has a love for playing and streaming online computer games.

    Jen Veitch is a wife, mom of 5 and grandmother of one. After a 15-year career teaching preschool, Jen began serving as the Director of Family Ministry at New Life Fellowship Church in Saratoga Springs, NY where her focus for the past 5 years has been on building relationships between adults and children to foster a community of discipleship from the nursery to college and beyond.  Jen’s love of working with children began at an early age when she was encouraged to help out in the Sunday school classrooms at her church.  With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and coursework emphasizing child development and special education, Jen has dedicated her life to serving children and families both inside and outside the church building.
